Introducing the Ross Racing Competition Catch Can PCV Breather kit for the B58 Gen1 guys!
 
This kit will finally bring our best in class Competition Catch Can to the Gen1 cars and incorporate of best in Class PCV Breather Caps to be paired with the OCC! Best of both worlds!
 
When it comes to crankcase pressure, the more pressure you can alleviate, the better and happier your engine will be! With that being said, designing the cap with two ways of exit will essentially double how much pressure can be alleviated from the system! This setup will be something more beneficial for the higher boost guys out there but it will work with any setup, including stock!
 
This kit will also give you the option to select between our standard V2 PCV Breather Cap or our new VU PCV Breather Cap.
 
With our standard V2 PCV Breather Cap, it fully plugs the runner in your valve cover that is routed to your motor's head-ports. By plugging this runner, you are essentially plugging your headers which will fully delete your PCV and remove vacuum from the crankcase.
 
With our VU PCV Breather Cap, it will perform similarly to our B58TU Check Valve Inserts. Our VU PCV Breather Cap has a check valve implemented that during idle will still allow vacuum in the crankcase but under boost it's a different story. Once boost tries to get past the check valve, it will force the valve shut which will prevent any boost from entering the crankcase. In layman’s terms, stock PCV during idle with vacuum in the crankcase but under boost the PCV will be deleted! Best of both worlds! This will also mean little to no smell! This setup will also be more ideal for cars that smoke after deleting the PCV since this is usually related lack of vacuum in the crankcase. 
 
With the VU setup there are special requirements. With vacuum in the crankcase, you cannot just run a regular open style banjo as this will create a vacuum leak. This is why we designed a special check valve/PCV AN10 Banjo that will stay closed during idle to prevent a boost leak but open under boost to ensure the excess crankcase pressure is able to VTA! Three custom designs working in tandem with each other to create the ultimate solution to PCV issues! Sounds simple enough once explained but it's anything but, otherwise others would have already thought of it!
 
VU Setup pricing is higher than my other PCV Breather Caps but for good reason because this just does more! This cap is a much more complicated design with smaller, more precise parts and of course the required addition of my Ross Racing custom AN10 PCV Banjo fitting. It's ultimately 3 products in 1!
